Hi, I’m KADET, aka Meta, aka Mike. I’ve been into music since I was 3 years old when my aunt from Alaska got me my first drum set. Then at 10 I had a piano and that sparked a fire in me that’s been burning ever since. I loved how the chords connected and sounded so beautiful. I took like 10 years of piano lessons and that doubled as music theory since my piano teacher was AMAZING. Then I was on a retreat for my cross country team and somebody threw on bangarang. That was it. I was off. I started trying desperately to find that sound and even imitate it when I found Virtual Riot. I fell in love with his music, and I listened to his stuff all day and night. I remember gaming in my room listening to Energy Drink and just marveling in how he was able to create sounds in such a way. Once I got my laptop and Ableton live 10 at 16 I slowly started gaining the ability to create my own sounds and eventually my own little worlds for even just 4 or 5 minutes, after all, I am META KADET!!!!!
